It's quite exciting. He's over DRC at the moment. I guess he'll got right down to South Africa, then turn and come back up the best coast before heading for Europe.
Same to you, GB

Thanks to the wonders of Google Earth, I am now tracking Santa through Italy live, as he travels. And thanks to knocking off work,, I also have my first beer of the night

So that's where my tax dollars are going... when they're not bailing out the banks, the car industry, pillocks who bought homes when they have no income.
Bitter? Moi?

What? You don't think tracking Santa across the sky is a good use of public money?
He's over Germany now - getting close

I took today off work (the office was supposed to close at 3pm, but closed at noon as a result of inclement weather conditions) and have been preparing nibbles for our guests; now I'm tracking Santa's progress.
How !
Happy Christmas, and may the new year hold nothing but the best for you, Skankyrich.
You too, GB.

Have a great one, pc
He's teasing now. He went to Luxembourg, then Paris, and now he's headed south for the Alps!

Git. He's gone to west Africa, avoiding the UK completely. Suppose there's no good kids here now, eh?

He's clearly lost. He's gone to Timbuktu. If I were him, I'd have gone there directly from Niger or Nigeria. It's quite a circuitous route he's taking.

Fair enough. He came back to the UK, and there's even a cute video of him in London. The only downside is that it's clearly fake; the time on Big Ben says 1.35am, and it's not even midnight yet. Still, it's the thought that counts.

I missed following his flight, but boy can that guy cover ground! Not bad for a man his age. So someone finally caught him on camera. There's no hiding from modern technology.

Santa works in a different space-time continuum to the rest of us, Leo. It's explained very well at http://www.noradsanta.org/en/asanta.html

Hey, just found this: http://megoagain.com/2008/12/tracking-santa-experiential-marketing-from-norad/
Why NORAD is tracking Santa: it has to do with a misprinted telephone number in a SEARS ad. The number printed was the one for the commander in chief of the North American Aerospace Defense Command. Not put out, the commander had his staff "track" Santa with radar so the children could get updates when they called.
Thank goodness for people with a sense of humor.

Quite sweet, isn't it? I you don't fully understand the concept of 'sweet', but it's the kind of thing that fills you with a warm glow. Horrible or what?
