"Pining for the fjords? What kind of talk is that? Look, why did he fall flat on his back the moment I got 'im home?"
"The Norwegian Blue prefers kippin' on it's back! Remarkable bird, id'nit, squire? Lovely plumage!"

"I wish to register a complaint about this youtube link that I posted not half an hour ago on this very journal"
"Oh yes, the Monty Python's Flying Circus 'Dead Parrot' Sketch? What's wrong with it?"
"I'll tell you what's wrong with it, it's only three and a half minutes long, that's what's wrong with it"
"No no, it's restin' look."

"Well, I'd better replace it then" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD0RkIuRCM0

Ok Paff!
I absolutely adore the 'dead parrot' sketch - being a Python advotee; but what has it to do with fjords?

"he's not dead, he's pining for the fjords"

That's really odd. Every time I click on a YouTube link, I just get a load of text. If I copy and paste it into the browser, it loads fine. Anyone know why?

I might even hold you to that, Frenchbean. We thought it would be very amusing to tell everyone that we'd changed our mind about getting married in the Caribbean and are doing the deed in Torquay after all. As in, the Torquay that has a Bell's Beach...

The BBC recently introduced a new mechanism between you clicking on an external link and actually going to the link. The reason for the mechanism is something to do with preventing other sites impersonation BBC Sites. THere've been a few bugs with it. Maybe you've come across another one.

It works fine for me, Gnomon, so I guess it depends on the browser.

Give me a day or 2's notice, Skanks, so I can jump in the black beast and get to Bell's Beach in time
