My favourite film, funnily enough, is 'It's a Wonderful Life'. Probably the Chris Rea of films, but there we go

Never seen It's A Wonderful Life, mean to watch it every year. Though I do agree that Fairytale of New York is the best Christmas song, been my favourite for about 4 or 5 years (ie since I started getting into music) with the second best being David Bowie and Bing Crosby's Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy.
At least you get the scene on the DVD...you do on the region 1 copy right? Shame they didn't like master it so you could slot it in though. EMR, what's your favourite Floyd album? Mine's Animals though I think Wish You Were Here is probably their best album, if ya get what I mean.

My favourite album is The Wall, though Wish You Were Here is great too. The music on The Wall is great, and I like the "story" - but more than that I happen to be obsessed with "wall" metaphors. They don't always mean the same things, but whenever there's a quote or a piece of art or something like that that raises the question of walls, I'm interested in it. Can't quite explain why. But I fell in love with Floyd largely because of The Wall.
