Hello, Goodbye, whatever

You'd be surprised at the things you find in people's journals
Obviously you don't have to use it if you don't want to, but keep in mind it doesn't have to be a 'Dear Diary'-type thing. Sometimes I post in my journal interesting things I've come across that I want to share with friends - like news articles or online quizzes, interesting websites, that sort of thing. And occasionally I'll post a bit about why I'm not around as much as usual, or something odd or fantastic that's happened that I've already told everyone I know but am not done talking about it.
I've used my journal to leave notes to myself as well, if I've found an interesting entry here on h2g2, or if I'm in the middle of reading a long conversation I might note what post I was on last so I know where to start next time.
Journals get a very limited exposure, not many people go looking for them. I stumbled on yours because I'm subscribed to all of the US Researchers groups and saw your posting on the NW group, came by your page to see where you were from. I noticed your journal and hate to see new people not getting responses to what they take the time to write, so I thought I'd say 'hi'.
And that's officially the longest posting I've ever written just to say 'hi'
Welcome to h2g2!
