What a day! I'm frazzled. And flummoxed, and befuddled in the brain. Hell roast you, work!
Tomorrow I have a day off. I have big plans for it: baking, reading, and lounging around. 
I haven't baked much for a while, so I'm looking forward to that, in particular. Something autumnal and rich is called for, I think. 
Work frazzled and befuddled my brain so much today that I made a slightly embarrassing malapropism.
"Doing anything special tomorrow?" someone asked. I was trying to express my wish to just chill, take it easy, and out:
"Not really," I said, "I'm just going to lounge around and menstruate." The word I was aiming for was "meditate", of course. 
Something tells me I'm not gonna live that down for a while.

But...but...there are *lots* of words in that first post, and everyone's just homing in on one of them! It's not fair!
I've decided what I'll make tomorrow. Mala's famous nutty buns! I just need some vanilla, and maybe some cinnamon, as that's not something I use a lot. I might make a chocolatey version of them too...

Yes... so many words... and it doesn't help that some of us misread them... by accident.... E.G., I just read "nutty buns" as "slutty buns".... and thought they sounded kinda interesting

Och, anything for a laugh. A laugh was welcome yesterday, even if I had to be the butt of it myself.
I've just got up. A lovely late start to the day. I'm idly thinking about buns, and whether to go for a walk. It's grey out, but quite warm and dry.
I'm also pondering where the best place is to go to watch the fireworks tonight. If I go up into the hills I could watch *all* the displays at once. (Plus, that's a family tradition - my grandparents went up there in 1941 to watch the Luftwaffe's fireworks display.)
I think I'd be really, *really* good at being retired!

This is gonna be the one thread in all of hootoo where we aren't going to get the slightest bit of topic drift, isn't it?
The dough is rising now, and I'm not sure if the filling will be enough to cover all the dough. (Not that anyone's interested, so instead I'll report that my hormones seem to be all in order, so far! )

Oh crap. I was meant to put butter in the filling. So that's why it looked a bit small on volume and wasnt all that spready. they look and smell lovely in the oven though...
