A place to keep track of songs that are enjoyable, odd or otherwise interesting.

Or 'Picture In A Frame', by Tom Waits: http://youtu.be/3pwxD8quPCg
(This one, I have discovered, is a remarkably enjoyable song to sing. It feels nice in the throat.)

One of my favourite songs by Lord Upminster. Ah, but there were so many of those Most of which are on New Boots and Panties.

I love him
Any poet who rhymes "Groucho, Marco, Chico" with "Bantu Stephen Biko" is ok.

Also anyone who can find so many words to rhyme with Sandy, Janet and Nina
And work the lyric "in the naughty naked nude" into a song

I do like a bit of Buddy Guy now and then: "My Time After A While". http://youtu.be/k8Ldbty-a8E
I don't know what's going on with that drummer's facial expressions (or inside his mind for that matter), but it's fascinating.

This definitely isn't one of my usual earworms, and I don't know why it's an earworm now. I suppose I must have heard it somewhere today.

I think tomorrow I'll have to wrest control of the radio at work.
It's usually tuned into a station everyone seems to enjoy, but not me - it's the blandest kind of commercial station which plays the same songs at the same time every day of the year. I find it quite depressing actually. But "hell is other people" and all that, and you've got to compromise a bit.
Every now and then I need to shake things up a bit, though.
I'm not sure what I'll go for tomorrow. Maybe Rory Gallagher or Van. Ohhhhh, maybe Thin Lizzy. Or something less rock maybe:

Anything that puts a spring in the step, I think.

Hmm. Not always rousing enough for what I'm after....sometimes it is, but it would be a gamble!
