Why do people do things like this? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-18246911

Or this? http://www.u.tv/news/Mourne-gorse-fires-deliberate/28d3f2bf-5cb5-416d-aefe-99bcc2c06663

Is it supposed to be fun? Burning the hell out of the place just for a laugh? Killing cattle, sheep, people, ruining people's livelihoods? Can anyone explain what's meant to be the 'fun' bit, because I'm afraid it goes way over my head.

But where is the fun in it? That's what I want to know...

To them, it probably means they can make an impact... change the course of events... makes them feel empowered and important. Just my guess.

You can call me TC

Quite honestly, I wouldn't even credit them with being able to think so profoundly, Yarreau.

Many of these people are sick: http://www.bipolarcentral.com/otherillnesses/pyromania.php

However, I have no sympathy whatsoever for them - they cause substantial damage in Spain every year.

Well, rudest elf, thanks for your opinion. And yours, too, Yarreau.

And yours, TC. I don't know - not many things make me as cross as things like this.
