I've recently moved to Western PA, and have tried the local cuisine. It's almost Dentrassi quality. I would highly recommend, if you find youself in Waynesburg, PA or on your way to Uniontown,PA, the following restaurants:
Lavern's Diner in Jefferson, PA (on the way to Waynesburg from Dry Tavern)
Yumm-Yumm's Diner
Janet's Truck Stop

Howdy Ford
I haven't been to Pennsylvania for nearly 30 years, but if any of those places are still open next time I go, I'll be sure to try to find them.
Did you move from elsewhere in PA? or just elsewhere? How are you liking it? You might find our own little 'guide' to Pennsylvania interesting: C119
Hope you're finding your way around alright, if I can be of help just holler

Nope, broelen, I moved here from NJ. An uninteresting little town called Millville, NJ, to be precise. The only things that exist in Millville are glass factories, bars, churches, and funeral homes. And while that may not exactly be a copletely true description, those are the only noteworthy things about Millville. I moved to Rices Landing for my fiance. I met her in Millville. She was moving back here shortly after we met. I am a deep believer in destiny.... Especially after watching some televangelist talking about her life, and how she came to be the person she is today. No fire. No brimstone. No wrath of God. Just what she'd done in her life up until present day. It moved me. I was floundering around... Doing nothing important.... Waiting for a sign. I got one... BIG TIME!!! And here I am in Rices Landing. About the restaraunts, yes they're still open. I wouldn't be recommending them other wise. I'll give a more descriptive detailing of where they're located after I research the roads.... Being kinda new in town, I'm not truly versed in street names and addresses and highways and such. Have a hoopy, frude day. G2G. On my third Gargleblaster...

Never been to Jersey, but my boss is from there. We tease him mercilessly about his accent. Well, that and because he's a Mets fan.
I'm sure the restaurants are still open now, but given my travel budget it may be another 30 years before I'm in Pennsylvania again. (I hope not, though - I like to go places).
I've never moved out of state, actually I've never moved further than 30 or 40 miles. I'm in Missouri, a nice, central location from which to see the rest of the country.
Key: Complain about this post
