once in my garden a woodpecker made a big hole in a bottlebrush tree a friend filled the hole and planted a rose plant now there is a rose creeper growing on the bottlebrush tree

Woodpecker holes make good homes for small birds and other wildlife. But I've never seen one used for a rose. That's a lovely image.
