Hi Ani an interesting post for the board to close on. Sadly I'm away on business tomorrow, and tomorrow night H my wife returns homa after a long week-end away, so I'm not likely to have much time to post.

Hi Heav. Having a life beyond these boards is not a problem. Get back when you have time.
As for the interesting post: I gather that you refer to the gayJ thread? Mother Theresa always used to say that she would see the face of Jesus in the faces of those folk she collected from the streets of Calcutta.
So I did a thought-puzzle on the question. How would I feel if Jesus was
a) gay? (relieved)
b) disabled (relieved)
c) African, First Nation, Asian and so on (relieved)
d) and so on.
The more I thought about Jesus in these ways, the greater was the feeling of God's closeness which spread over me.

Well I've whacked out my reply and fortunately it won't have the prominence of the last post (dun durrrr, dun ddurrrrr, dun durrr dur dur durrrrr, dur du du durrr du du durr dun durrrrrr, cyber last post) of the day.

Ian. Feted to meet? Certainly feted, insofaras life at h2g2 seems to have been quite a nice little party. Wot with beer-brewing, whiskey-sipping at sundown, Welsh cheese, and generally just hanging out.
Now all we need is some extremely loud music.
As for fate to meet: I dunno about fate. Being a free will person I am inclined not to put too much store in fate. Asking to meet people happy to discuss Christian topics? yes. Ani.
Key: Complain about this post
