May I put in a plea for the forgotten "Vestibule". So often these days, it is replaced with the common or garden "Lobby". "Vestiblue" is a delight to say and often a surprise to the listener or reader. Drop it into a conversation today!
ves·ti·bule (vst-byl)
n.
1) A small entrance hall or passage between the outer door and the interior of a house or building.
2) An enclosed area at the end of a passenger car on a railroad train.

I'll second vestibule! Also, may I propose "onomatopoeia"? I do not have an Oxford Dictionary with me at the moment, but it's a noun of Greek origin that means (as far as I recall) "sound word", e.g. "Boom", "Doh" etc.
