It's a rainy Monday, and I'm not at work... :-)

That would be because it's the May Day (Labor Day) public holiday here in Queensland!
So what did we do on this particular rainy day?
Well, we went down to the local cinema and saw "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", of course!
Arrived just the the bit about the dolphins was playing (due to the missus deciding to do the washing up right when we should have been getting ready to go!)
I don't think we missed much, though. 
It was just mentioning the Dolphins whistling the "Star Spangled Banner".
Quite enjoyed the movie, I did. Different from the books, very different from the TV series (which I just finished watching the other day), but I quite liked it. I thought the casting was pretty good, Arthur was very Arthurish, Ford was a bit oddball, Zaphod was definitely Zaphod, and Trillian came across as very switched-on (not to mention cute!), as the books say - unlike the 'semi-bimbo' style of the TV series. Alan Rickman did quite a passable Marvin, too
Not going to say any more, to avoid potential spoilers, but I can say that I really hope they make the movies of the rest of the books. I'll be going for sure!
