...Seems I can now ACE this account too..

Welcome, welcome, welcome, to the wonderful site of H2G2 (other wise known as hootoo - you will see this word a lot). I am an <./>ACE</.>, and I'm here to help you settle into your new home

H2G2 is a living, breathing guide to Life, the Universe and Everything, and it's something YOU can take part in. You can write entries on all manner of subjects, and if it's something you think would look good in our Edited Guide (where all the best research goes), you can submit it to Peer Review. Take a look at the <./>writing-guidelines</.> for more information on that.

I've created a little list of links, just for you, so click here <./>A1159210</.> and have a look at them (actually the links are my daughters...but hey!! Hootoo is one big family )

If you click on each link, they will take you to parts of hootoo no sane person should ever go alone on this site.....

......but as it seems no one here is sane, it doesn't matter does it!

Have a look around, pop into my personal space and read some conversations that I have on the go at the moment and you will see how things work. Don't be frightened to jump in on conversations, hootooers don't bite (well, some of them do, but I'll steer you well clear of those), just be aware of the thread you are reading and whether or not it is a private conversation between two people.

Remember, if you get lost, shout for help and hopefully I'll be around to give you a helping hand. Does that mean I can just keep this account?

To be honest I still haven't got a clue how to log into the dancingDiscoStu account. Every time I log in I get brought back here.

Plus I just worked out my 42 thing for this account number, don't make me do it again!

We shall just have to see what happens love

Seems like some are on their old accounts and others are on their new accounts.. I spent a lot of time yesterday checking them out..

Poor PFD, might be the one having trouble, she seems to be slipping from one account to the other..and I can't talk to her in her old account.

Hi guys - As you'll have noticed, this isn't h2g2, it's Collective. You get brought back here because your account must have been started in Collective so that's where your virtual home is. Cheerio - Row

This thread might be appearing in Collective but it was posted and replied to in h2g2. Mucho confusing. Think I'll just have to start a new account Lil?

Let's see what happens when the old site closes .. there must be away to hold you all together.

If my old account is definitely going to disappear into the ether, then I'll set up a new account now, create a new home page, and let PFD, Spitfire and the others know where to find it. Better to switch now than cause a panic later if the page disappears!

Is there a way to automatically redirect people to the new page?

If you really feel that is necessary, then by all means do so, but I have a feeling you will be okay now that this account is open to hootooers..

You can notify your new account number, by doing a Journal in your old account.. anyone subscribed to your personal space will automatically receive the Journal.
