Step 1: I'm quite drunk. (It took me three goes to type the word "drunk")
Step 2: You've never seen Star Wars.
Step 3: I offer a suggestion if it ever occurs to you to rectify this state of affairs:
There's a problem with those films.
If you watch them in production order, it's shit
If you watch them in numerical order, it's shit.
You need to watch them in this order:
Star Wars (I refuse to call it "A New Hope")
The Empire Strikes Back
Attack of the Clones
Revenge of the Sith
Return of the Jedi.
DO NOT watch Phantom Menace. OK?
Do the five, in that order, preferably in one long and quite surreal day. Done that way, they're pretty good. I'd be amazed if you don't know someone who can lend you the relevant DVDs.
Enough. I need to sleep. I'm v e r y drunk. Did I mention that?
