Quite a good start.
Needs more information how about leather bookmarks, the cord i the middle of certain older books etc.
Even that some of us use the dust covers on hardback s and old bus/train tickets which are handy while communting
Room for expansion.
And we must not forget a more that turning down the page also has some benefits especially for book marking mag azine articles

Unfortunately there is already an edited entry on Bookmarks: A812774, a rather good entry IMO, and one that seems to cover about all of the content of your entry Thorin. In general, two edited entries on the same subject are not allowed, unless they cover different aspects of the subject.
So, this entry isn't really suitable for the edited guide, due to the overlap with the existing entry. It's a pity, as this is a nice entry.

Yes, the existing entry really does seem to cover all the bases. Since the author of this one appears to have been a bit of a 1 day wonder as well, should we go ahead and have this thread moved back to the entry?
