Your discussion of the two parties is a valid subject, but do to do a really balanced job of describing their major aims and differences, perhaps you should try to discover their self-proclaimed philosphies, instead of drawing them from their activities.

Mind you, the thoughts you put down pretty well mirror my own, but balance is the name of the h2g2 game.

Meanwhile, the more constructive part:

'In an attempt to facilitate understanding of the differences between the different factions of the government, or in America as defined as a political party, the following presentation.'
This sentence appears to be missing a verb of some sort. Perhaps you meant something like 'In an attempt to facilitate ... ... I offer the following presentation'.

'One of the main influences to the form of government in America pleaded to not have political parties ...'
This would be more effective and poignant if you could identify the 'main influence'.

'likeley' should be 'likely'.

Perhaps, by 'regulations, and incentives for providing of good works', you meant '... good jobs'?

You say that 'there has been a progressive movement of both parties to the center of the road.' This may not be a movement, so much as catering to the center to encourage voters to select them.
