First off Kansans do not understand the red hexagon STOP signs. They will follow in the wake of the car infront, sneak up into a turn and then slow down or the standard rolling stop. If you want to fit in do not actually come to a halt at the stop sign. The reason for this is that STOP signs are used for plinking (target practice) and no one lingeres at STOP signs in case the car was plinked.
Second, Kansans cannot keep a steady speed. Never ever tail one. This is due to Kansas having the topalogy of a slice of toast. They will slow down by at least 5 MPH on overpasses, there are no hills, or turns. If you try and pass a car he will be insulted and will increase speed. Since the crusie control is often on the turn signal arm Kansans will ignore it.
Also, due to arcane traffic laws speed zone vary wildly. A 3 lane freeway may be a 60 MPH but a 2 lane highway next to a school may be a 70MPH. Of course with the rest of America the slow zone often are poorly marked and will have a member of the law enforcment lying in wait. Always a amazing coincidence.
