As you know, Z and I have a taste for islands. We're also planning a weekend away in November. Some people prefer to keep their wierdos safely at the other end of the internet and I more than respect that, no questions asked, no tantrums thrown and no offence taken. But we'd be honoured if you'd let us buy you a drink. I think the relevant weekends is the 1st and 2nd of November, but it might be the 15th and 16th. My email addy is on my home page. Looking at my diary the weekend of the 1st 2nd is the end of the half term hols so, if you plan to fly over, it may be busy.

Thanks for the warning. We ferry anyway. I've spent too long in airports to like flying much.

Morecambe. It's Morecambe that we're going to for our weekend away. We've got to go to a DO on the Friday night and so we can't go too far. I'm not entirely sure why Morecambe seemed like a good idea when we were deciding where to go. Maybe it was for a bet.

So, another time. When it's warmer. And lighter. And less wet.

It's particulary vile over here at the moment. We're being battered by a SW gale and it's lashing down. The weekend doesn't look much better and ferries are being cancellled so a wise choice. Wave when you get to Morcambe, if look carefully from the farm where I walk the I can just about see Eric.
