Hey everyone. Just curious to know why everyone is being moderated and odds are a moderator will be reading this.
I have that 1984 feeling coming on again.
What do terrorists keep in their plots and plans?

Arisztid told me it was because there was a strike and it was easier to put everyone on pre-mod than to close the whole site down.
That's all I know.
...I should probably get around to reading or watching 1984.

I got around to watching 1984, the movie.
God it was boring. And largely pointless.
I'll read the book as well, but I'm not exactly encouraged to read it /really/ soon any more.

Because I was /told/ it was a really good movie and I'd find it really insteresting, yadda yadda.

The concepts are interesting but the plot put me to sleep.
Especially in the book.

I'm going to assume the concepts are a bit better in the book.
Although it was kinda interesting taken from the point of 'this is how society is now... now how do people work within that system?' it didn't actually have any justification of how that situation arose.
In other words, although the concept was a warning of 'this is what would happen if we lived in a socialist structure, isn't it horrible?'
It was a moot point because there was no explanation of /how/ we'd managed to get ourselves into such a system without anyone saying 'hang on, this is a bit naff, isn't it?'
So yeah, I don't think I'll bother watching it again. Even for the nudity.
