Just a note to drop my addie to you so's you can get on my list. Mentioned it earlier and left out some wee letters etc and of course then there would be NO chance to a chat elsewhere.
the_lovely_lenore is my login and @hotmail.com does the trick. (Don't want the spammers... )
Looking forward to talking with you perhaps this weekend.
And yes, snow is here to stay in Northern Canada. Early this year, but then we have had the MOST strange weather since spring. Ah well, means NEXT spring is closer.... P-L-E-E-E-A-A-A-A-S-S-S-E tell me that is how weather works!!!!

Hello there Lynz,
I finally secured your email from 'free poetry' and tried to list my own there too. I've been so busy these last few days and off the boards and now settling down with an ease that only Sunday's can promise.
Will drop a little note to you before evening from the Irish shore. Rainy, cold, dark it is here. Maybe a little frost but I daren't find out. Too comfy and wrapped up to look. Will let the day unfold lazily and pray for a little spill of snow. How I adore it so I envy you a little. Although my eagerness for this lasts only a few days, as I hate slush and ice. I also have no sense of balance or decent (non-slippy) footwear, so I'm usually found flat on my arse! Bruises galore.
Hey, make a snowman for us!
WATCH OUT!
It wasn't me, I swear!

Morning....
I went onto FP but couldn't find your address on your profile. So here I am again....
Six inches of white fluffy snow on the ground. I am SO willing to bag it up and send the lot to you. Shall throw in a pair of boots with grips so you can avoid the bruises. By the by, I don't usually tumble but had one last week whist navigating a hill that I didn't THINK was as slippery as it WAS. Thank goodness, no one had decided to be watching me.
I am looking forward to a mail. I love mail.
Enjoy your lazy day....

Aha! You're in here too!
I'm trying to catch up on reading as I've been off the boards for last few days. There's SO much though! And I've only got round to all my replies and thank-yous! Gonna be a late night, AGAIN!
Cheers for all the lovely notes tonight, I love getting mail (males? ) too!
Please go build me a snowman and tell me all about it. Watch yer step though!

just wandering a bit, Jen.
The sun shone for less than an hour today. I cannot wait until all the lakes are frozen and the sunny weather resumes. Nothing quite so lovely as sunny winter weather. Nothing except sunny SUMMER weather, but I am NOT going to brood on that.
Anyhow, just flashed a poem. Will post shortly. Feeling a bit lifted tonight. Don't know why since I walk to work again in just over 12 hours.
feeling kinda chilly. No snowman making for ME tonight, my little Irish Pal!

Well, I've just made myself a little cuppa with that little kettle I bought for the room. I am SO lazy! AND I haven't stepped outside the door once today, ahh...the bliss of an easy SUNday!
'Tis 1:46am and I'm wide awake. Due for work at nine, not a dish washed or a bed made. Well dog and partner have retired for the night. Just me and the PC, some smokes and good music. STILL trying to catch up and hope to take a peek at your latest later! Might throw a wee one in myself if I can finish it.
As for walking, it takes me 3mins to go to one job and 15mins to walk to the other. Pure luck has it. Fall out of bed 5 mins before leaving.
I'l forgive you the no show of snowman as you've offered me cake. (Always a sucker for something sweet!)

just put the kettle on. I am working. Actually my dear husband is working and watching the World Series. I am helping when he needs it. Procrastinating actually. Don't want to get to the evaluating that needs attention.
Wrote a wee flash. Dropped a friend at work a mail or two since the poor dear is on night shift tonight.
As far as walking goes, I can reach work in under 5 minutes. Sometimes a windy walk but it clears my head. I cannot leave the house without doing my hair and a bit of color to my cheeks and eyes. Oh vanity, vanity!!
Maple tea tonight, that is if I have a packet left..... no it shall have to be earl grey vanilla....

Lynz,
Awh.. what are we like! Drawn to the hypnotic folds and stuffing ourselves with tea/coffee, chocolate/cake! Any why NOT? 'Tis the close of the w'end and reality kicks in for the next 5 days!
As for my hair, I just have to tie it back but I have to wear a little eye make-up, no lippy or rouge though. Both red with the run to work and because I talk too much!
What time is it with you? Are you about 6 hours behind here? It's 3:57am with me, (and yes, I SHOULD be in bed!).
Too wide awake for slumber!

Hi there Lynz,
Seems like an age since we chatted. I've been off here and vacant on the email for the last number of days but have since been ressurrected and hope to regain contact!
How's the snow coming along? Did you have a good Hallowe'en? I was MEANT to go out but something came up so spent it at home although could hear the wicked screams and laughter from the street and had to shield the dog from the bomb of fireworks!
Also just wanted you to know that I have read your last two poems but want to spend more time with them, especially 'Dearly Beloved gather near here...', it really got to me. It is really quite amazing and there is so much to think about. Hopefully I'll share my thoughts on it in the next day or two.
Hope all is well and 'not-so-cold' with you!
Catch ye soon,
Jen
