Had 20 weeks scan yesterday Halfway already!
Baby appears to have all the right bits in the right places and nothing worrying was seen
We've dared to buy a few bits and bobs now. The bigger items are all so confusing so not made any decisions on them yet. And did you know you can get a changing bag for £120? Bargain!

That's great news Jules. You don't mind watching while I toast you and the bump with ?
You'll never believe me (as I never believed anyone until I had #2) that you don't need a changing bag... a really good rucksack with lots of pockets is more than good enough. I'm still using mine (as a rucksack, not a changing bag)

I liked my changing bag as I could use it with one hand - rucksacks never seem to have a large enough opening, but I agree you don't need to spend £120!
Just as long as you have a lap to change the baby on you don't even need a changing mat, but I had to get one (and the changing bag came with a 'portable' mat because my hubby couldn't change on his lap!

What I notice over here is that people have changing tables - which can be expensive - whereas my friends in UK had their changing bag downstairs, and used their bed, or the floor upstairs. Much better.
For #1 I actually made a rather fantastic changing bag, with a detachable mat and lots of compartments - but it was very ugly material - so I gave it to someone and got my fabbo rucksack - which has a huge opening with a drawstring - for #2.
And in fact, once #2 was about 3 weeks old and I'd got the hang of going out with 2 babies, I used to fit everything I needed in a large handbag. Makes first time mums go

There is no way on earth I will be spending crazy money on a posh changing bag, fear not.
I've read a few recommendations about getting a rucksack, Sho, so you're not alone in that
We got a second-hand changing table for upstairs, which comes with two shelves underneath where I can store nappies etc. Got at least £75 off that so was happy to get one.
Legster - you keep on with the cravings - I'm still waiting for any to start...!

Oh that sounds good, Jules. I got a well cheapo Ikea changing table - but I had a bathroom the size of a football pitch and lived in a ground floor flat at the time. When we moved here, with our tiny bathroom, I got one of those changing tables that goes over the bath. That was convenient for my nappy bucket which lived in the bath.
How are you feeling now? You probably have a nice bump that makes people smile and be nice to you, but it's not so big that you feel like you're heaving something around with you.

I still get tired if i don't give myself breaks, but you're right, people can now see that I'm expecting but it's not huge yet. 21 weeks today

Congratulations!
If it kicks at night, stick your *bump* into daddy's back and let him stay awake too!

Where the heck is the time going?
How are you doing, as far as I remember this was (for me) the absolute best part of both pregnancies. Not so huge that I couldn't see the ground, but big enough so that people stopped thinking I was fat.
