It's my Birfday this weekend.
So the posties are going on strike:

and as if any cards I eventually do get won't be late enough already, they're striking again next week.
I'll just have to have a second celebration around the end of next week! 
But how will I know that anyone loves me?

I don't know. I've informed Spouse of the impending date and I can and will do no more. Last year was not his finest hour

Oh yeah, well, sorry. But Timing, I agree. I've just sent off a very important begging letter and I'd like to think it'll get there while there's a chance I'll get some money.

Hello all
I'm officially a year older!
Two (of the anticipated 200 or so ) of my cards got through before the post strike so with the one from Spouse that's three
We are having a relaxing day (Can't visit anywhere due to my recovering ankle - I'd have liked to have gone to a museum/gallery/other attraction if possible)but plan to go out to eat tonight.
I am gtting lots of texts and calls due to the lack of card-sending opportunities available to my family and friends. My Mum rang from a ship in the Med she is currently holidaying on
