Revenue commissioners? Are they the people collecting your taxes? I guess we'll get a letter from them soon, but I don't think they'll waste their time with niceties, they'll just fine us

It was a little leaflet telling me how to register for online tax assessment. Nothing threatening (this time). But the salutation struck me as, well, odd.

Yes, odd seems to sum it up nicely. Gad! Not the sort of place where you'd want to be a frequent "customer" for sure, unless you could convince them to offer frequent flyer miles or something of the sort.
