Here is a scenario which must have occured to many people at some time in their lives. You have to return a product to a store because it is faulty, damaged, the wrong size or, as in my case today, the product has been recalled for safety reasons. So all you, the customer, want to do is return the unwanted item and exchange it for a new one or for cash. Simple enough ? Hell no. You are then obliged to stand around for an interminable length of time while they do their stores internal paperwork. It is all about forms, stickers, receipts, refunds, Product codes, stapling this to that, scanning this for the other, plus a lot of head scratching and mumbling to themselves... Why on earth can they not just give you what you want and worry about their own crap later ? If you are a store manager (especially at Dixons in Brighton) please take note !
