h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well, as of earlier today, I am now an employee at Red Rooster (a fast food chicken place) at a shopping centre near where I live. Whoo! I'm getting my stuff tomorrow. I'll be a cashier, although I'd rather be a kitchen hand, but my sister says that they usually make girls cashiers because they have better people skills, or something... Right, so yes, I shall be supplying balls of grease to the public. Hooray! My first job. I am following in the footsteps of my brother and sister. And I'll be training at the store my brother is the manager of (it's the training store ) but I won't be working there. Though my brother says if I hate the people where I work, I can get transfered to his store where I know and like the people.

Yeah, although Red Rooster is better than McDonalds. Much helthier, though still unhealthy like all fast food, and it specialises in chicken (as the name would suggest). Mmmm, chicken.

Yeah, there's a uniform.... like, boots, not sure if the pants are uniform.... might be.... shirt, hat, name tag, and a hair net (baaah... hair net.) Mmm, mmm...

How long would it take if you mailed it out to me (I'm in the UK). I could give to a girl I dont get on with lets say for difference in taste! (she's a wanna be chav). Thats if it took for ever and went off from there to here or something.

Airmail from the UK to Australia takes about a week, so I can't imagine there being much difference the other way

A training store? Is that like those training buses you see, that don't actually carry any passengers? So it's just a pretend shop where you train to work in the real one, and it says "Employee under instruction" in big letters on the back of the shop?

I also think you should tell people you're serving them the Mysterious Chicken from time to time. Should confuse a few of 'em

I don't believe Red Rooster mails out food, nor does it deliver or anything of the sort. So I'm afraid if you want any of their chicken you must come to Australia and buy it at the store.

My first training shift is Friday at 10:30 am. So mmm, mmm... they weren't sure how long it would go for, so we'll have to ask when we rock up on Friday. Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
