I'm spending some unpleasant days right now. Since saturday I have a sore throat and a dry cough whenever I speak. My head hurts every morning and sometimes most of the day. I'm not sure wheather this is a virus thingy, or maybe allergic reaction to some plant stuff flying around, or a mixture of stress and exhaustion because of the wheather. Because this wheather just doesn't improve at the moment, it's hot and the air so thick you could slice it. Normally there would be heat-thunderstorms in the evenings, cooling everything. But here in the very east they don't arrive till 3 in the morning, keeping me awake. And the next day it's awfully sunny and hot again. This would be absolutely brilliant wheather if it were holidays now and if there would be an ocean next door to plunge into. But to sit indoors in rooms without air condition, and then always the way back home up hill, it's terribly exhausting. And all this right now, when I need to learn for my exams. I'm going to some secretary tomorrow and ask if I can cancel my sign-up for 2 of my 8 exams. Would be wonderful if that were possible, it's illusionary that I should learn economy in these few remaining weeks.
Ah that was gloomy enough, wasn't it? at least I'm taking some time out to recover and that gives me time to read Michael Palin's "Himalaya", wonderful!
Oooh There are more glow-worms outside than I've ever seen before

Ah, some relief today! It turned out that I can still cancel my sign up for exams till the end of week. *Phew* just on time, I at once cancelled mediaeval(sp?) history and institutional economics. That leaves me with 6 exams, a reasonable number I think. The work load looks less frightening now.
And finally there's some wind here today! Means I can breathe a little easier, that's helping a lot.
Off shopping now...lots of fruit and veg, I think, is necessary.
Key: Complain about this post
