Susanne - if it ain't broke, break it!

smiley - laugh I just spelled both "mondays" in the topic wrong - mondy and mondsy smiley - erm This notebook keyboard is a little smaller than the one I was used to.

Monday is always a little full. I have 4 lectures at uni, and going home for lunch takes a little time as well. I think I need about 20 minutes to walk to the furthest of the uni-buildings (the one I have the most lectures in smiley - tongueout), and the way home is up-hill, so somewhat more exhausting.

I bought train tickets home today! smiley - biggrin Oh, I really am looking forward to going home over Whitsun. In catholic Bavaria, we get at least the tuesday off, so that means catching the train after lecture on friday morning, and going back the next wednesday morning to go to lecture in the evening. 4 days at home - wonderful. smiley - smiley I'm going to take a bath every day, eat lots of toast and pizza, listen to the radio again (with any luck, this should be possible here, too from wednesday on...goingto write about this later), make a dvdnight with Sabrina, go out drinking and laughing and generally not worry at all for 4 days. smiley - biggrin Good plan. smiley - laugh

Ah well, now that I mentioned it...at the moment I can only listen to cds in an appaling quality on my laptop, and listen to the radio (local channels smiley - groan)on my mobile, via headphones. Some 2 or 3 weeks after I had moved in, I really wanted to get a little compact stereo system, with nice stereo speakers, radio, cassette and cd player. I walked about 30 minutes to the next electric-things-shop (smiley - erm can't remember a decent word for that in English), and had a look round. I bought one I could just about carry, for 100 €. Walked up-hill back, had a terrible muscle-ache the next day. Still - what is physical pain when you can turn up the volume again smiley - biggrin. I enjoyed the pleasures of music for one whole day - then the thing broke down. It just stays on stand-by mode, no reaction when I press power. Haven't managed to swap it yet, but I think on wednesday is enough time to do the great journey to the shop again. Dare I hope? smiley - goodluck to myself smiley - smiley

That's good to hear about your cat! I miss my little pet birds, I'm always asking my sister on the phone: Do you give them enough vegtables, do they get enough fresh air and so on.

I'm going to swap the stereo tomorrow, very definately, I don't want to postpone it.

My internet is still weird, as soon as I have some time, I'll sort that out too. I'm motivated this week! smiley - biggrin

But economics is really difficult smiley - flustered

I think I'll start a new book now..are you reading anything recommendable at the moment JEllen?
