It seems like I have been lost in a world of blogs...but not posting anything much because I'm too overwhelmed and not enough time and energy smiley - puff. I feel somewhat guilty...

Figured I'd update some...

I have a bike! A nice shiny purple one...G and I go on rides after school sometimes and I have planned a trip tomorrow to the ice cream parlour for the last scout meet of the season.

G has been very good in school and his new meds have worked out beautifully. Occasionally he has off days...but he has more good now, than off *beams* smiley - biggrin

We were working on a diorama earlier, for Grouse. Basically we just painted a box in camouflage for now - and I have ferns, leaves n' berries things to put in it and cut outs of Ruffed Grouse. He was really upset that he didn't get to pick a cool animal like a Tiger because he wasn't quick enough in class to get that one...but is now looking forward to making it after all...after getting green and brown paint everywhere!

I have been feeling very low lately, not sure why....but shall book an appointment soon... smiley - erm Think maybe the monthly is getting intenser than usual...not sure...I don't like to use that excuse, but still...

Hi! It's great to hear from you! I am sorry you've been feeling low. I've been going through a down stretch myself, but am starting to come out of it, which feels good.

Micio says hello too! smiley - cat

I'll be back to post more in a little while, I need some caffeine!

Edward the Bonobo - Gone.

It's funny how these things work. I had a weekend of 'unfocussed anxiety'. Then when I woke up this morning - it had gone. Must be That Time Of The Month.

I do hope you've been passing by http://bonoboworld.blogspot.com, Vix. I've got a new poetry spin-off too: http://bonobopomes.blogspot.com

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear }

Sho has a current journal, about a bit of a funk that she seems to be in. And several of her friends relate that they too are feeling kinda depressed lately. SO some of that may be purely seasonal?

It is good to hear that methods and means of making the mini-man's world more stable have been found. smiley - smiley

Yo, Vix! Good to see you.

I find it easy to become lost in the blogosphere, too... so many blogs, so little time! Fortunately, the people who maintain blogs I actually read regularly, aren't in the habit of posting daily, or posting many silly quizzes and stuff like that, so I can actually read, view photos, comment, and keep up.

Thanks for adding me at MySpace, BTW. I love your picture!

I've been in a bit of a "blah" myself lately, but that's probably just because of all of the staff changes at the office hours combined with the extra hours I've been putting in. Lots of changes to my routine tend to be met with some considerable resistance, if you know what I mean?

Hey! smiley - biggrin

Nice to see yous!

Ed, I have your page already, and your mornings are similar to mine -

Geo gets up first and vanishes into the bathroom for whiles, I stagger to G's room and pull the covers off him, open the blinds and flood the room with some light from outside.

Wobble back to the living room thro to the kitchen where I grope for the milk out of fridge and pour G a cup, wrestle with the door to the pantry and get cereal and milk again out of the fridge because I can't seem to figure out that I need it twice... and get bowl out of drying rack and somehow mix a bowl of cereal.

Drag covers offa G and rummage for the days clothes for him, throw them at lump in middle of bed - I'ma good shot by this time.

Go get scrubs, grab ironing board - then start getting grumpy at G for not getting his clothes on, then drag tired boy to the table.

Iron scrubs..

Geo emerges from the bathroom, I dash in - grab my toiletries put them in the hall ready for use so I don't get moaned at for being in the bathroom too long - even tho it takes Geo an hour to let go of the bathroom smiley - cross

Yell at G to eat his breakfast and not stare into space, get boy's shoes and shove em onto feet. Run and put scrubs on, drag the brush thro my mane and slap in headband coz I can't bothered to style and it keeps my locks outa my face.

Grab the vitamins, tell G to take em, groan about his slow lace tying skills and yet he's superboy tying them when it's play time.....

Get him to brush his teeth, brush mine...then we leave...

smiley - ok

I didn't get to go the ice cream parlour last night because I was sick, Geo took him, we shall cycle another time. Still a bit wheezy, I managed to schedule a day off today instead of Weds lucky for me and work otherwise I'd have called in sick. I have to work this weekend which kinda blows. I have a bit of cold, kindly brought home by the hubbie for a change...usually it's either G or I - coz of the germ factories we go to..

Sorry to hear you have the blues too, seems like a lot of people get them this time of year.

oh, and a question to everyone that's here and passing smiley - lurker's what age should you give children deodourants? G is nine in July and is a very clean boy..but..however....*phew*.....he gets stinky...is nine too young to use body stuff?

I rather think it is, but I just wondered....

I think my mom gave us deodorant to use when we each started junior high... but I don't think 9 is too early if he gets stinky. Maybe start him off with roll-on instead of stick? That's what I used to use... and have come back to, in case you wanted TMI this evening. smiley - winkeye

There's actually lots there in the text, Vix, including the original OM...Push bike? Far too healthy for me, and far too many hills, but I shouldn't have assumed...smiley - jester

I don't mind assumptions. smiley - ok

Yeah, I know what you mean healthy wise - I seem to recall biking everywhere when I was younger with effortless grace.

Now I feel like a puffy lump, balanced on a razor blade of seat trying to pedal up a ferociously steep gentle incline. smiley - laugh
