Wow! Will it rain?

The Braganças are proving slow to get through! I'm getting to the time when they were evacuated to Brazil and deciding who was staying and who was returning.
Meanwhile, keeping fingers to keyboard, I have 'penned' an oddment on Globes.
Now we are into Wow, the weather is turning a little cooler, but I think thunderstorms are forecast for the weekend coming.
The Waterboard has spent the day digging out the rivers with a JCB. Do they expect it to rain this winter or are they preparing for the weekend? Luckily we were fully staffed as a lot of things had to be rearranged while the machine was working, and they hadn't warned us!
