Hello Kif... please call me lil
I try to keep things a light as possible on that thread.
It is for fun and occasionally we pick of some of the men,
but all in good fun.
I see you are fairly new of our community. How are you
enjoying HooToo?
You are welcome to visit me at anytime.. if I can help you in anyway,
just ask. I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi lil,
I am new onn hoo2oo and I love it.I am trying to write The Great British Novel and whenever I get stuck which is quite often I play a word game. I would like to get some pictures and animations into my lournal, and sometime try writing a guide about my experiences as a stress management trainer. And my some successes with very disturbed people andsome failureswhich in a couple of instances were quite dangerous

Khamsin you halo will be round you neck in a minute!
Oh Hi! Kif... is this how you deal with stress in a management course?
Yes you can find relaxation on hootoo.... but it is also very addictive too.
I only came onsite because my daughter Vicki Virago.. and an ACE, thought it would help me give up smoking.
It did too! Now I need weaning off the hootoo site!

IiI
This does it for me and I wish I knew about it when I was working
some of my milder clients would have been helped by this. I did once relieve a chinese womans stress by taking her kite flying. It's the same principle. Thiswould not have helped the guy who tried to stab me!!Do you think my work as a counsellor would make an interesting guide?

It would be your professional view of your work. I could not possibly comment on it without first viewing your published works. But I am certain there will be people out there needing guidance and even breathing exercises will calm people down.
I wish you luck in your project and look forward to reading your published works.

Dear Kif,
I have re-read your messages, and I think I owe you an apology.
I think I misunderstood your original meaning of writing a book and writing for the Guide.
Yes I confirm that your idea for a Guide reference would be a good idea. You can help so many people on this site. You would need to put your finished piece up for a Peer Review, but be warned, it can take a lot of amendments and a long time before a Scout will pick it up for consideration for the Guide!
Personally I tend to attract others who may have a problem or two and I have helped a number of them just by listening. This used to be part of my profession as a Personel Officer. I can often see behind the threads, just like reading a persons CV.
A lot of these people have remained among my personal hootoo friends and we still maintain close contact.

Hi Lil,
no need to apologise as I didn't understand your reply first time. There is a book in progress but that one is The Great British Novel and it has been in progress for many years and is still only about a chapter and a half of rubbish! Your second post was on the ball, I wondered if hootoo would be a place to writen about my twenty odd years in counselling and how the philosophy of emotional helping has changed over the years

Dear Kif,
Well lil should not try being so clever when she has had a glass or two of wine!
If you look at the Front Page you will find on the right hand side of the page near the top, an area of subjects, including Relationships. Just click on there and have a look at what has already been submitted and accepted into the Guide.
This will give you an idea of what may be required to get your work published into the Guide.
I do hope you are successful in getting yours published!
and an to celebrate too!
lil x
