Patsy: "Pissed lil?"

lil: "No, I always look this way a couple of hours after me tabs"

Patsy rolls her eyes and runs after them.


Eileen: "Oi lil, are you coming to watch the film tonight?"

lil: "No, not tonight.. can't keep my eyes open"


Barbara: "Okay, if the Sister asks, we are watching the film in the dayroom"

lil: "Okay"


So they toddled off, past the end of my bed and into the dayroom, where it went very quiet within minutes.

(Lil sleeps for about 1.5 hours)


Sister enters the ward.... "Where are the three musketeers?"

In the dayroom </>

Sister looks: "Nope, they're not there. Did they say they were going in there?"

Yep.. and I'm sure I watched them go in too </>

Sister checks lil's med chart: "Aaaah... confused again, I see"

"Hmmm... I must be" says lil.


There is a distant laugh.. the Sister re-enters the dayroom, and pushes open the connecting door to the dayroom on Sherrington, only to find another 3 patients from Dott Ward in there too!

The Sister comes back muttering: "I wouldn't be surprised if Barbara was either a burglar or head of the escape committee in Colditz"



Funny.. coz I could have sworn I was in hospital..

Dream?.. Nope.. it happened. Somehow, Barbara managed to open the connecting door the the empty ward in between us and Dott Ward.

Sister was not too happy about it.. but lil was fast asleep within moments again

You had way too much fun in hospital,you sneaky .......good to see it....they can be dreary places...

You should have heard what VC had to say about my charts on Sunday night..

Seems I kept forgetting to breath..

Potentstuff to be sure...but a godsend after some surgeries...the pre-op injections are quite thestuff too....

Hmmm...so they put you on the Dotty Ward. I really can't imagine why. Maybe the Sensible Ward was full?

And we will have no more of this "no breathing" nonsense or i will come & hold you upside down & spank your bum. Works on newborn babies, you're never too old you know.
