Hi
Rudest Elf Posted May 22, 2009
I agree with you about El Bulli. It must be quite an experience for those with the patience....... and the money, of course. [If you read the comments at the end of the article I linked to, you'll discover that there are people desperate enough to offer substantial sums to take over a booking - not that they'd be accepted by 'The Management'.] Might be a good investment.............. if you've got the money............. and the patience!
London was wet and windy - usually at the same time.
Almuñecar, eh? Well, when we're in the South visiting Sole's parents, they like to take us to Salobreña (always close to the same beachside restaurant), while we prefer Calahonda... or somewhere a lot further east... .
Lunchtime.
Hastalogo!

Thanks for your answers in that thread. I don´t want to post there for a while. I don´t feel comfortable there.
And of course there have been several post denying "that" Don´t know why they deny now what they denied then.
I don´t want to discuss about such things.
I still don´t understand the irony, if any, or the point of the post where someone said that they don´t study grammar nor don´t know well about subject/object. I doubt it very much coming from that person... but, who knows why did he say that? Maybe he doesn´t like me very much or maybe his style is that seco and cold.
There´s an excess of malaleche that I really don´t understand.
I felt sad and saturated.
Maybe I´m too sensible lately.
Back to more productive tasks.

I agree with you entirely, María! But don't let it/them get you down. I post to that thread only when I happen to notice the most obvious of errors.
By the way, your use of English is progressing wonderfully... but I can't stop myself pointing out that although I consider you to be *very* 'sensible', I think you meant to say 'Maybe I´m too sensitive lately' - I have the same problems with Spanish, of course.
Time to make some lunch.
Don't leave it so long before calling!

Hola Paul,
where are you? I´ve been out of here since last september, came on april and left again, and now, it´s about two weeks I´ve came back here again. I´ve seen you haven´t posted from february?!!
I really hope you feel ok, and that your absence is just an hiatus. I miss old friends.
Anyway, I´m not sure if I´ll be able to drop in around here much, I really hope to start working soon.
Un abrazo, Paul, take care.

Hola Maria
It's good to hear from you. I hope you've recovered from the injury to your foot... and that you're enjoying the (slightly) cooler weather.
When you wrote to me last week, I was unexpectedly enjoying a perfect beach day in St Jean de Luz. Before that, we'd spent time in the Alpujarra, sticky Frigliana and Ronda.
I see you've left a message for jwf. Have you tried to contact him by email? I have his email address should you need it... and he can give you mine.
Take care of yourself, and good luck finding work... not too far from home.
Paul
Hi

Mi querido amigo!
you look great, tanned, smelling of sierra...
I´m glad you haven´t disappeared from here. It´s a bit on decline in some aspects, so I could understand you.
I´m a bit worried about jwf, I don´t remember that his absences could take so much. I´ve thought that he may have broken a leg or something and can´t access the library... I hope I´m wrong.
So, yes, I´d like to have his mail. Mine is in one of my journals, if you don´t find I´ll write it here again.
Oh, and I¨ve got a job!! it´s close from home, just 20 minutes. 5º and 6º of Primary ( spanish language) and a group of 7 years! I love that.
I have an hour extra with the little ones and I/we have to create the content , computering, reading... I´d love to do some expressive reading/dramatization and teach them songs. But I don´t know if my workmates will like my proposals... sometimes people don´t want to change their routines...
Un abrazo Paul, I´m so glad to know from you.

I've sent jwf an email with your email address... and this: Manu Chao Clandestino http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKT5mOur3l4 - the second song, Desaparacido (and some other lyrics), seems pertinent...
I'll email you soon.
Keep well.
Paul
