what do you all think about banning smoking in pubs and cafes etc they places will bankrupt in no time .

I dunno- because cigarrete smoke often aggravates my respiratory problems, I am far more likely to enjoy myself (and therefore spend more time and money) at a pub or cafe with a non-smoking section at least.

i'm not really one to ask... i used to smoke nearly 40 a day, but gave up cold turkey nearly 2 and half years ago due to health scare.... hubby supported me and stopped also...
i now hate the passive smoke, although i know i used to subject people to it before...
in my oppinion i welcome it, but then, would i 2 years ago???????

i still think the pubs clubs etc will see a drop in takings but what about factorys or the BP which has fumes that can be as bad where does it all stop

i agree bout the takings... maybe they should do a smoking pub and non-smoking, alternate on the route, plus a few mixed, rooms for fags and rooms fag free... as for other fumes, good point babes.... xx

It's stopped here- indoor air quality is maintained by Occupational Health and Safety Admin., and the outdoor air quality (for the most part) is under the supervision of the Environmental Protection Agency, if it lasts that long...

I agree with Pagan ,make smokers pubs and non-smokers pubs, that way everyone is happy.And civil liberty is left intact.I'm so stressed now I need a ciggie !!! Love Pinky x

Probably, along with ALL food !! ! Have you any idea just how much obesity is costing the NHS every year ? ? Millions !!! ALL food must go.Smokers are costing the NHS millions,just ban tobaco !! well i rarely go out drinking due to me disabilities, but i do like a glass or few indoors of an evening to help me relax and ease me pain n stuff....

i didn't realise you had ms babes... i suffer bad arthritis and spondilitis, amongst other daft ailments, obviously not as bad as you, but the nice medicine does help..

yes i was dagnosed in 1997 with it iam still active but when its bad its bad ive learned to live with it not easy but i could be a lot worse i could be stuck in bagdad without a gun
