Sausage - The slang suggests a reluctance for producers of Australian sausages to reveal the exact ingredents within its sheath. Often Australian slang for sausage will involve reference to the male phalice.

I've never heard of a sausage referred to as a "mystery bag" but it sure does seem credible so I'll believe you! In my experience a sausage has always been a "snag" (not a Sensitive New Age Guy)or - depending on the size of the sausage - a "big boy" or "little boy".
