I am home with a headache recovering from a day of drama and discord. Hope everyone else had a good day.

Sounds like a family gathering. (This is why I haven't been 'home' for Christmas since 1998...)

I didn't visit home for years, but I'm here now.

We stayed home last night ourselves. We used to do this t-day thing with my side of the family, but my uncle went by a different cousin this year. I don't much care for her, I like her husband's side of the family even less, and there were a couple dozen of them invited. No, thanks. And I didn't want to show up at K's side, we do Xmas day with them and that's plenty- if they started expecting us for two or three holidays inside of one month, I'd never survive it.

Yeah PC, I saw your cousin dilemma on your journal a while back. I'm glad you stayed home. And you're vegan right? This way you don't have to worry about what might be safe to eat.

I usually manage all right- it's not so much about the food as the company, when you get down to it.

As it turns out I had a headache all day, and today I have had a low-grade temperature and upset stomach, so it's probably for the best I've been lounging around anyway.

The cousin will be dealt with somehow, eventually.
