h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Except there's two problems with that: One: There's a meningitis scare happening here at the moment, and there are ads on tv saying "don't share drinks" etc. And two: It makes you look like a prat.

Well, as many of you would know, I used to go out with an ex-marine (I don't like "go out" as a term, but "date" is ridiculous and "live with" shares a bit too much...how about "I used to have a toy boy who was previously a marine" ?)

Anyway, I had told this man right from the start that I was a little evil...I come from a long line of women who posses the "psycho b!tch switch", you know. He wouldn't believe me. Which was nice in a way, because it meant he thought I was ok. And was insulting in a way, because it meant that he thought I was harmless...whereas I'd like to think I was at least a *little bit* harmful

So this boy was staying at my place (long story), basically around all the time, and living happily in the belief that I was *not* a force to be reckoned with.

Until the day he tried to take a swig of my beer.

In my mind all I said was "don't touch my beer"...but the look of teror on his face led me to believe that there may have been a more....agressive...spin on it

After that he always tried to be extra nice to me...and my beer

Hehee! Sounds like my ex-flatmate. I got on great with C, and I'd quite happily live with her again... and I've seen her terrify the out of a couple of people who rubbed her the wrong way.

Good times...

I don't get angry a lot, it doesn't suit me

Funnily enough two of the last three times I've been *really* angry involved boys who were staying with me (I seem to run a halfway house...whoda thought that a one bedroom flat could *ever* be the best option for runaways and persona sans abode ?). But both times it took at least a month of quiet disuassion (did I spell that right ) before I finally lost it.

The other time was a basketball team of 20 year old s who were picking on my Dad...which just goes to prove that you should never pick on anyone you think can't stand up to you, because even if they can't, chances are they have someone who will
