hmm...
well i'm rather paranoid.. but not as much as you are it seems. i think i'm still too busy being nieve.
also i've decided i'm short
i mean i wouldnt want to tower over everyone or anything like that... but just yesterday night i was standint talking ot two of my friends and discoverted that i was looking right up their noses.... and i didnt mean to but to look at their faces i had to tilt my head up. and then this morning i was talking to a different friend... and hes really tall... but it felt odd to have to tilt my head up that much.
...i think i've only just recently noticed because of my new effort to look people in the eyes. its very improtant to some people... and i had no idea.. i mean just think i might not have been looking someone in the eye because of my own self confidence problem or something... and they'd be standing there thinking i didnt like them, or didnt accept them or something equally silly....
i dont think i like being short either. it doesnt have any advantages at all....

Generally I just talk at something on the floor about 3 metres away witha glazed look in my eye like Im not interested or move around so much no-one can talk to me anyway. But I will look people in the eye if I want.

well.... you see... i once knew this person... and i did look him in the eye, and i dont know why i did and not everyone else. but anyways i did look him in the eye when i was talking to him. and its a good thing too because it turns out that he thinks you have something to hide... or something like that... if you dont look him in the eye. and thats not true. i didnt have anything to hide. if i didnt look him in the eye it was because i thought he was so so cool... and that he'd never consider being friends with me.
...but i seem to look just over peoples shoulder or something...

You could try looking at the brisge of their nose if it gets too difficult for you.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Dec 9, 2004
well thats true.
i could try that.... and then again i could also just go back to the easy way of not looking people in the eyes... staring at the floor or over their shoulders...

Yeah. Or you could just not talk to people fullstop.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Dec 9, 2004
hmm.. i actually used to do that. i prefer talking to them. especailly now that i'm starting to feel more comfortable around my friends... so i think i'll keep talking, its too lonely the other way.
