i,m needing some good tips on how to potty train my daughter sometimes she is really good asks for the potty other times she just does it in her underwear (pull-ups)my daughter is 2 and a half and will be starting nursery in september and they need to be dry and it proper underwear all good tips will be tested out onn my daughter

hi sarah...
2 1/2 is still pretty young.. you need patience for a start as she will pick up on your tension and that in itself could cause her to have an "accident"..
leave her potty within easy reach so she can get it herself.. keep asking her if she needs to use it and constantly reminding her where it is, and telling her to help herself to it.. praise her when she does use it but never scold her for not... keep a star chart for when she does use it, and after so many stars offer her a small reward.. and at the end of the day reward yourself...

Right, you've got the upper hand there luv!

it's harder to get them potty trained at night darrell....
some kids can take til 10yrs old to be completely dry...
every child is different.....

i know it, hard on a night to keep them dry but megan isn,t doing too bad this morning she was dry she has only wet on a night this week 3times once a nighnight which is good i do reward her n a friday i get her a toy which she is happy about the potty is in reach for her in the front room where she an get to it
