I'm amazed - I *finally* managed to unsubscribe from the Lastminute.com mailing list.
I originally subscribed when h2g2 did their deal with them - but have been trying to unsubscribe ever since I realised all Lastminute.com offers were valid only for the UK!
Multiple attempts to unsubscribe were ignored by Lastminute.com & finally it worked!!!!

I subscribed to the douglasamadams [URL Removed by moderator] mailing list & never got anything from them.
It's hard to know which is worse, being ignored when you join or when you want to quit.

LOL - it looks like Harry still hasn't learnt to use the preview button.
It's nearly as hard to get off the Emailcash [URL Removed by moderator] mailing list here - they just don't give up. I guess they hope you'll give up & their figures will look good.

I always worry about giving my email address to places like Amazon & [URL Removed by moderator] - you never know what's going to happen to it or where it'll end up.

It's probably very wise to create 'disposable' email identities with someone like Yahoo or Hotmail.
Though 'nonnie would probably object to the Hotmail~Microsoft connection
