its good to see that the service was a 'success' and you managed to see your friends and relatives and reflect back on your moms life.
now the rushing about making funeral plans is over, you have time to sit back and remember things.

its strange how some little every day occurance or even a 'smell' or someone saying a certain word, will bring things back to you.

Since my Dad has died I have always felt his presence either via lucid dreams, when I am going out shopping or even when I am watching the television. Sometimes I can smell lager or cigarettes in the living room (My Mam and I are both non smokers and do not drink beer) and closed doors (when it is not windy) have opened on their own and I hear his footsteps.
