Of course there is always the one about eating your greens will make your hair go curly - also applied to breadcrusts and anything else mothers can never get their children to eat!

I was always told marmite would make my hair go curly, and I liked marmite, but the thought of ending up with hair like Kevin Keegan's perm put me off it for years!

I used to eat loads of Marmite. Curly? No. Messy? Yes.
(but now it's just short. I wonder if there's something you can eat to keep your hair short?)
