Arrrggghhhh. I can't do it. I can't make it make sense. It's the "larynx owner" that screws it up. I had posted the owner, but Bagpuss hadn't noticed, since it was on a new group of 20 posts, and posted larynx. I assumed the "owner" had been dropped from the sentence and continued with distended. Thanks, Peet. I haven't really been away, just not posting as much as I used to. I'd love to get the "universe" thread going again (and I noticed your post there a couple of weeks back), but I kinda miss Affy's contributions - there didn't seem to be enough of us without him to form a critical mass - or should that be a comical mass. He's still extremely busy with school and extracurriculars, so he probably won't reappear on h2g2 until at least summertime.
