How about I say what I'm always told at uproar:
Bye to all leavers, hi to all coming in.

gamaboy Posted Jul 23, 1999
And a question to all uproar players.
I haven't played in a few months because I found a new site that I was really into for some time. Now I am revisiting my previous hangouts. Give me one good reason why I should even consider going back to cosmo. I played one game today and turned out 4th, so as for getting smarter (ROTFLMAO), forget it.

OK, lets forget it all, and accept that we are all good buddies again. Do you mind if I start a discussion about Cosmo in general? Forget the Chisel-Bashing, that seems to have sorted it self out, lets talk about the Cosmo UK site, for a start, once we begin chatting about it, no doubt we will get some Uproar insiders commenting right back, which is something we dont often get the chance to hear. Its our community, and it's about time maybe an Eileen or an Angel or a Steve responded to our thoughts? You never know, we might even praise the site for what a great thing it has come to be! Where else can you meet such a condensed mixture of intelligence and great people. It's like a MENSA meeting! With prizes! So come on Aspie, Becky, Oogruuk, the oft silent folk of our favourite community, come and comment, tell us what you think about it all, share with us your secrets, desires and high points! After all, we have ALL met people on Cosmo's Conundrum who are just fantastic players, nothing more. Renko, Bumpie, and Natal Shark. You can always ignore me, but i think you all have something to say.hope to hear from you all soon.......

some hopes! asking uproar to do anything, seems to me to be like looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
what i cannot understand is, if I am banned, why do they continue to pay me every month. do they need a programmer? perhaps they need an Eileen who is not quite so trigger-happy?
oops controversy...

chisel Posted Jul 24, 1999
to reply to that.. go to www.oogruuk.com you will come to the same conclusion that i did. Oogruuk would rather watch paint dry than get into another cosmo battle. I asked him how he won so often, he said "practice" - so - back to the game cosmonauts...

LOL chisel, got me there. I moved from the US site to the UK site because the US was so crowded it was no fun, besides at the time I had played about 20 games and being 250th is less fun than being 30th lol. Oh by the way, I have another topic that bothers me on my site. If you like discussing or versing opinions, go here: http://www.h2g2.com/U50746
Hope to see someone there too...

well, after reading through all discussions and hearing (a little) from both sides of the whole argument. I must also come to the conclusion that a lot of people need to grow up, and get over it. I also am a cosmo regular for the last few months anyhow. I go to cosmo simply to play triv and have a friendly chat. To have to listen to senseless arguments is both distracting and irritating.
I have met many lovely people in triv. - including chisel - although i knew him as Stoater. he has never been abusive to anyone in cosmo whilst i have been playing - that i have been aware of anyway...
It is my wish that everybody just bury the hatchet (not in each other) and let chisel/stoater return as himself and continue playing.
I also think that people opening rooms such as "terry's sexroom" is just immature and shows how pathetic their lives must be if that is what they do to amuse themselves.
i wish to stay anonymous as i do not want to get involved or be accused - once again by either side - as I have already been. I just want to continue to play triv and have fun, friendly chat in a upbeat, relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately this is sometimes no longer possible.
Here's hoping it all is resolved soon for the benefit of all....
A.cosmonaut.

OK folks. I think that it may be time to add a closing word.
It seems that there will be no response fromn Uproar, on the discussion level. However the court case is in full swing.
I will invite everyone to the party. Touch wood.
Meanwhile , here are a few nasty handles for you to be on the lookout for.
Poetry, enough said about the midget..unless you know more..
Juliet*, seems to be some sort of seamstress
Hanzie, also know as Tokai. the perfect drunk
Aspie, also know as various worms...
Whistle, tends to hang around with creeps... and makes a lot of noise.
and of course, various bit players....
in closing.
i have not left, see you soon cosmonauts and thanks for all the support....Terry Stapleton

Nevermind watching out for certain handles, the only ones we have to watch out for is yours Terry. I dont know what you are trying to achieve with this page cos it seems that 95 % of the people writing on it are you under your many handles

This message above me here seems to say that I am chisel. Well, I take that personal. I am offended by being considered to be someone else, especially by a paranoid un-droid who doesn't even know what he's talking about. If, and that is a stressed if, most of these handles were Terry, then most of these handles are Terry in cosmo too. I have seen and greeted some of these handles at cosmo at the same time. Now I know a computer can support up to 4 opened browser windows at once if it is a strong computer, but 9....? Anyway, this is too ridiculous to even discuss... See yah!

To researcher 51723........
This is getting so boring!
A question for 51723, do you include me in that 95%??????
If you do, you are seriously lacking in the brain department. You obviously never took the time to get to know me on Cosmo. If I am in the 5% then ignore this, but somehow I doubt it, because I have been told that there are plenty of narrow minded accusers out there. It's back to being guilty of having an opinion!
So, if there are any of you out there who think I am Terry/Chisel, why not have the guts to identify yourself, as I and others on this page have done, and get in touch with me at [email protected]. You can then tell me your half baked ideas as to why you have given me the identity of another, very hurtful as gamaboy said.
Hmmmm......any takers, thought not!

It is good to see that people can come into the forum and post anon ymous accusations whilst they hide behind a veil of obscurity.
I am pleased to see that the petty minded are still paying attention to others, and indeed, if they listen long enough they may well become enlightened.
I too am concerned that I am being accused of being someone I am not, but would expect little more from this kind of person.

ROFLMAO! Someone sent me this URL and I just HAD to comment that you are all so silly.
Am sure you are all very nice , but very silly nonetheless.
Are your dishes washed and your laundry done? Surely you have better things to do than this? heehee
No wonder legal fees are so high. The lawyers are laughing their asses off on the way to the bank with silly complaints,
Wanna tell your mom on so and so? ROFL! God, I though when I hit my 40s I was gonna be a grownup. And I see you lot, some in their 50s being tattle-tales.
heehee, I just HAD to comment, cos it's SOOOOOOOO sad

If you go to a psychiatrist, Terry, they can prescribe medicine for what ails you. Your life will be a lot happier, I guarantee!!
As for what others have said... yes, Terry, you genuinely seem to be a decent sort of fellow when your mind isn't playing tricks on you. I've played with you a LOT in Cosmo and have always managed to stay out of your way. I joke with you and laugh with you. But I HAVE seen the arguments that go on too. It's not about who likes who and who's dating who. It's about trivia. If you folks don't want to play trivia, please move on. I'm not interested in anyone's social life and whatever arguments may arise. I'm not interested in placing blame either. It's stupid and pointless. There are a LOT of people at fault in this scenario and hopefully, by now, they've resolved their issues.
This should be about trivia and trivia only. Please leave your problems in the trunk of your car when you arrive at Cosmo. And wag well! We ALL need that money!
