Having been directed to this site by a mate of mine from cosmo, I would like to voice my opinion on the 'chisel' debate.
I was offended by a choice comment made in my direction not so long ago and being the hot headed soul I am - I stuck up for myself.
Maybe I over-reacted, maybe I shouldve just stayed quiet. But I didnt. Maybe what was said was not meant in the way in which I took it - I dont know.
However, since these incidents everyone seems to be on the guys case. Everyone seems to have something to say - I have a friend who was banned by Cosmo because another player thought that she might of been Chisel in disguise.
C'mon guys lets GROW UP and play trivia, im as much to blame as anyone - I know that (thanks for making me realise Nigel - x), but I think its time everyone calmed down - I think that Uproar should give chisel his handle back and that we can all be mates again like the old days.
This is a peace request to Chisel from ADY and a request to all cosmo players.

It is great to see people using their heads, i feel that if common sense had prevailed 6 months ago, we would not be in this daft situation. I have seen grown people (supposedly) making wild accusations and even threats. Come on Cosmonauts, grow up, and get a grip on reality, and Uproar, it is time you saw sense as well.
The sooner some people (you know who you are) stop acting like children,then the sooner we can all settle down to our happy community.

Do I hear the sound of peace looming??? I do hope so ... somebody let Uproar know and let them read this. Then we can all be one big happy family again and nobby, ady and stoater (chisel) all the others at Uproar can happily go back to *thudding*, chatting and basically having fun!!

Hey again. Glad to see truce on it's way. I hope the gesture goes well noticed and would like to commend Ady for his overcoming the rage that is so easily released in cyberland. I would also like to praise chisel-Terry for accepting the apology in glee, even though it doesn't bring his handle/ISP back...yet.
Seeing this case coming to a friendly and positive end, as it seems now, is refreshing, yet the overall problem remains. I used to be heavily involved in roleplay, both as a player and as a leader, and am no stranger to people lashing out whilst pretending to be someone else. With a small group of people sitting face to face, resolving the problem is imminent. An entire (virtual) world however...

Guy's and dolls,
I went back to the top and reread most of the entries. I realised that, aside from Nobby who rings a bicycle-bell, I know none of the people posting. This might mean two things: Lot's of people have joined in the past couple of months, or lot's of people have used different handles on me. Neither do I recall poetry or juliet as uproar handles, let alone people, so I'm getting the feeling I barged in on a conversation I have no business with. I will therefore refrain from making any comments on people at uproar that I don't know, meaning things like: poetry is so close to poultry he must be clucking a lot, juliet is a handle used by girls lacking their romeo to balance out their psyche, steve's are 13 a dozen and the masses are always dumb, Becker loses at tennis so why bother trying to win at anything else when the B is supposed to be a P anyway, and stuff like that. I won't lower myself to that kind of conversation, so forgive me for sticking to the main issue. Lot's of fun in life to you all, whatever mistakes you've made.

Firstly, it wasnt an apology - it was an olive branch - an opportunity to leave our differences behind.
I am no longer interested in arguing or bickering.
Nothing has been said behing your back that wasnt said in my previous other two messages - and that it is that no apology was made - i have nothing to apologise for.
Dont worry about it Terry - I wont be going back to Cosmo and I wont be returning to this site.

I think that the whole point of this forum is being ignored, I feel that this is the place for adult minded people to realise the folly of their ways and make peace. yet i am worried that people are trying to score points off each other, and lose sight of the ultimate goal, (all being back in a game of TRIVIA). Let bygones be bygones and let us lose the in-house bickering. Those of you who have the ear of Uproar, can, (if the will permits) ask for a cessation to the past hostilities and let things return to normal. I ask that this can be done because things have got out of hand. I for one would love to see all folks back, and look forward to their company again.
