Holiday to Cornwall

Post 1

Vestboy

My appearances on the site may be reduced drastically over the next week as I and some of my family will be going to Cornwall to live in a caravan.
We're going to Rick Stein's eatery in Padstow on Saturday so I'm hoping I'm not allergic to his cooking.

Which one? The guy owns half the town.

I stayed there a couple of years ago, but only tried his fish & chip shop (opposite the lobster hatchery).

It's a lovely part of the world - have a great time! If you fancy a ramble down in Penwith, then I've just written A55951617

Thanks for the good wishes and advice.
The walk sounds fascinating. We may even give it a go, but that will take a bit of negotiation knowing the individuals involved.

We had fun.Mischief was very tempting but mainly avoided.

Rick Stein does seem to own half of Padstow. We had a pleasant meal in his fish restaurant with even my grandson enjoying the food. His favourite seafood is prawns but he also liked the lobster we tried.
Mussels he found a little hard going but that's as much the look as the taste.
He devoured a Thai fish curry, which was great.
