This year three of my male friends have lost their wives. Two just last week. On Friday I have to go to a funeral in Birmingham while missing one much closer to home. Both of the women were in their 40s. This is really sad.
If I were (and the women were) much older I think I would understand it better but I'm middle aged, not elderly. I didn't think I'd be losing friends so fast. It feels horrible.

I guess most of us have lost a friend or relative at a very young age, so we all know how you must feel.
