Hello. You have reached the page of Jamie. I am not here at the moment (because of exams) so please leave a message after the tone and I'll have fun reading it when I get back online...

thanks for taking the time to type that anyway. I'm a bit upset about the fact that no-one has typed in it. I'm all weepy and srying and ...boo hoo... see??? I can't hold it in...

Don't worry, I did the survey already, and I also emailed the (approx) 50 people that make up my mailing list and told them to go there too...but lots are on hols and so won't be checking their mail for another couple of weeks, so I dunno if there will be much response before friday...sorry if there's not...but I tried! Must find time to build my site more...but my home computer doesn't work and thus the only computer I have is at work. And that's bold...doesn't stop me much though...you know how "important" these summer student employees are to companies and all that...aheh aheh...

Hey Nightfever!
I only address you that way because the last time I heard the song was long enough ago that I couldn't possibly remember the words!
I was hanging around Kat's page - she's meant to be doing a review of The Princess Bride for Fenchurch's page and I'm meant to be commenting on it (it doesn't look like she's done much, but that wasn't exactly unexpected!) so I thought I'd drop in and see what had happened - and your name came up, so I thought I'd come around and see. I'm at work too, but that, as you suggested, hasn't stopped much.
Come by and say hello!
Oh, hi Cafram!
Regards,
H.

Hello Nightfever
greetings from a fellow countryman (kind of). I'm in Killarney, Co. Kerry, although I'm originally from Holland.
Sorry to hear about your two friends in Kenya. It's always really hard to lose someone you care for.
Anyway. gotta go.

Thanks for the thought about my mates. Funerals (2 of them) were yesterday. There were about 200 people there (lots of engineers!) but they were nearly all in their 20's. Wasn't a "normal" funeral type of crowd. Really, really sad occasion...
Goth in Kerry?? Hmmmm... Or is that your real name??
Great place Killarney! Was there 2 summers ago camping, did the cycle in the gap of dunloe(?) and all that. Damn! I'm Irish and I can't spell stuff!
We went camping there, and the wind nearly f**king killed us! Scary at night. BUt the pubs and clubs...ohhh!! O'Connors used to give us about 1/2 a pints worth for a shot!! So cheap!!
Holland to Killarney??? Not much of a change on the drugs scene I suppose, but hey..!
My Answering Service:
Astrogoth Posted Sep 22, 1999
No, It's not my real name! Although my parents are twisted enough to call me something like that....A throwback from their hippy days!
Yes Killarney is fun. You spelled the Gap of Dunloe correct, so no worries there! It's a very beautiful area. You're right about the wind though. And the drink. As for drugs, well....
But seriously. Like I said, my parents were hippies. They went straight (no drugs, no fags, not too much alcohol ) when mom found out she was pregnant. They told me all sorts of stories, and suffice it to say that I won't be doing drugs. Ever.
Except for good ol' Alchol!
Take Care
Thomas <- See, my name ain't Astrodome!

Hey Jamie.
Just getting in touch to say hi to another Dubliner. It's cool to see a few of us around. Anyway that was my pathetic attempt at breaking the ice short of an icepick.
Again I echo the sentiments of A.Goth in connection with the recent bereavements.
Sorry about the whistlestop message but I have just got to go and get drunk!
Talk to you soon.
Dak.

Nightfever Posted Sep 23, 1999
Hey Dak. I've heard that name before...Gemmel books?? I dunno...
Anyhoo...where in dub you from? Nort or sout? Curious and all...
Thomas (if that is your real name ) My parents were kinda hippies also, but I've never really heard much off them to stop me trying some drugs. Nothing much more than hash really, but alcohol is still the greatest!!
Ahhhh...
I'm heading to the UCD bar later for drinks.
My Answering Service:
Dakeyras Posted Sep 24, 1999
I used to live down the road from UCD, in St. helen's wood on booterstown, but I have now moved and live in Drumcondra, just to answer the question.
And yes Gemmell, so you a fan of his?
My Answering Service:
Nightfever Posted Sep 24, 1999
Yeah, I know it (sorta). Nice place I think...
Drumcondra?? Why Drumcondra??
Gemmell, yes, I read all the Drenai stuff a couple of months ago. Good squishy that...
So, why no entries on your page yet???
