Appropriate that the new millenium starts on a Monday, really, and even more appropriate that everyone in this country has the day off...
Weather: fine, oppressively hot - even if it really isn't all that hot, just oppressive: heavy, hot wind - and slightly cloudy. Perfect summer weather, really.
I resolve to keep my journal a bit better updated this year, and to get some more editing done.
Where is everybody?

Hi Hypoman
I'm here anyway, and instead of the million things I wanted to do today I've been browsing the Guide, which I only discovered the day before yesterday.
I've been reading the excellent article on diabetes, and some of the conversation about hypos. Someone should mention products like 'Hypostop' which some diabetics carry on them. I would do it myself, but (a) I'm restricting my postings till I've found my way around a bit, and (b) I'll probably leave it to my son to do this once he has registered, since he is the diabetic one and knows a lot more about it than I do.

Interesting. I'm intrigued, never having heard of the 'Hypostop' product. Not that a product like that is not a good idea, just that I haven't seen it around. What is it, exactly? Get your son to fill me in...!
I know what you mean about 'doing the 'Guide' instead of doing what you're supposed to be doing - but it is the right time of year for it, really. Don't feel compelled to restrict your postings, either: nobody else does!
Welcome, and regards,
H.
