h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

As I sit this evening, the last episode of the last series of ‘Seachange' having entertained me and made me laugh uproariously - even if for the second time - I am in a happy and relaxed frame of mind. The new series starts tomorrow night, and the national broadcaster has never looked so good. Right now I'm sitting and typing while listening to the ‘only radio station in Australia which would dare to play a Bay City Rollers double shot', and it's a rather interesting, if dating, experience... Saturday night at hypo's place - it's where the big ones just keep happening!

My love life has stagnated again, but due to an incredibly silly bet I made with Anna about getting a ridiculous number of articles edited in a very short time, I'm rather too busy to notice... The weather was fair, if cold and windy, today, and I finally managed to add Barb's name to her face, which could never be a bad thing...

This time I checked the calendar - even if it doesn't acknowledge the fact that Daylight Saving starts tomorrow, in the wake of the Olympiad which is about to land on our fair shores.

So what was your bet with Anna?

And are you ready for the influx of Yanks?

Better you than me. I hate bloody tourists!

I bet her, rather foolishly, that if she provided me with a new journal entry of her own to read before I got my last lot of articles in (which had been lying around for a couple of months, at that stage!) then I would reciprocate with a double batch in half the time of my quickest batch to date.

Following the completion of said batch today, I've actually bettered my record for a batch submission by more than 75%, I think.

I'm exhausted, though, and I'm not sure how much money has really had to be spent to do the job...!

But did she update that journal finally?
