Is the fella in the picture - Charles Gray, looks like the one who played Blofeld in "Diamonds are Forever".

I'm sure it is. I recognized him too. As the 'Criminologist' in the "Rocky Horror Picture Show". He had the lead role in a 1979 telly version of "Julius Caesar". (IMDb is SO cool!)

OOOH!... More cool IMDb stuff. I just learned that Charles Gray played both a good guy and villian in Bond movies. He had previously played Bond's contact person in Japan in 1967's "You Only Live Twice".
He's also apparently Ava Gardner's neighbor.

Good old charles gray. good old diamonds are forever. what a strange coincidence. It just happens to be the film on my calendar this month, and i just read all the details last night. and im about to start re-reading the book. he wasnt as very good blofeld though. heres a nice question i bet none of you can answer, and if you can you must be cheating: What part di Charles Grya play in Diamonds are Forever, aside from Blofeld?

He was 'Henderson' in You Only Live Twice', but I don't know of any other roll he played, besides Ernst Stavro Blofeld, in Diamonds Are Forever.
I give.
